Training - Terms and Conditions

1. Bookings/Registrations

Training course booking requests can be made in the following ways;

Payment can be made by Credit/Debit Card, or BACS/Wire Transfer. Payment details will be contained on your invoice which we will email to you within 2 days of your booking request.  It is the responsibility of the individual making the booking to provide Sooner Safer Happier with a Purchase Order if one is required. Please email POs to info@soonersaferhappier.com and we will issue the invoice quoting the PO number.

Once your booking is confirmed by ourselves via email this constitutes a binding contract according to our terms and conditions below.

2. Payment

Invoices are payable in full within one month of registration/invoice date, or more than 14 days prior to the course start date (whichever is sooner).   Sooner Safer Happier financial information and terms of payment are included on our invoices, however should you require further information please email info@soonersaferhappier.com. Payment can be made using the payment link included in your invoice, by Credit/Debit card including Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Your training place may be offered to someone else or class cancelled if payment is not received on this schedule.

For invoices priced with Early Bird rates, payment is due 30 days before the start of the course.

3. Late Payment

Sooner Safer Happier reserves the right to refuse course admission if payment has not been received prior to the course start date.  Under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, late payment will be subject to an interest charge of 8% above base rate on the full amount outstanding.

4. Customer Cancellation/Transfer

4.1 No-Show Policy

Where Sooner Safer Happier receives no cancellation notice from the customer prior to the start of the course, and the delegate does not attend the training, the following will apply:

  • No refund of the course fee will be made. If payment has not been made, full payment plus any applicable interest charge will be due immediately.
  • The option to transfer is not available and a new course booking will need to be made and paid for.

4.2 Substitution Policy

A substitute candidate can be named up to 5 days prior to the course at no extra charge. After that time a 5% charge will be applied to cover the cost of re-sending course materials. Please check our website for more details.

4.3 Transfer Policy

Sooner Safer Happier understands that circumstances may occur which require the customer to re-schedule training to another Sooner Safer Happier training course. All transfers must be confirmed by email and the following fees will apply immediately

4.4 Cancellation Policy

5. Cancellation and alterations to course contents, dates, venue and trainer

Sooner Safer Happier reserves the right to cancel or change any public or in-house course and undertakes to provide reasonable notice of the cancellation or change except in the case of an emergency. The delegate will be entitled to a refund of fees paid to Sooner Safer Happier  in the event of a cancellation or any change to the course date or significant change in venue, but shall not otherwise be entitled to compensation or costs or damages arising from such a cancellation or change. We will do our best to accommodate delegates on to a suitable alternative course/date.

6. Refunds

Sooner Safer Happier  will refund fees paid according to Section 4. If payment for the order was originally made by credit card, any refund due will be made back to the same card. If payment for the order was made by another method, the refund will be made by direct bank transfer.

7. Fees, VAT, Card Charges and Receipts

Course fees include tuition on the day(s), and all relevant course materials. Course fees are charged in UK £.

Sooner Safer Happier  is responsible for covering any credit card charges arising from use of the online registration system. However, in the event of a cancellation, these fees may be passed on to the Customer.

8. Course Joining Instructions

Course Joining Instructions include video conference details, course start/finish times and trainer details. These are sent within 2 days of receipt of payment . These are system-generated CJIs and may occasionally be blocked by email providers. Please check your junk mail folder, and if you have not received CJIs please contact us by calling or emailing us. 9. Collecting & Processing Data – GDPR Compliance

Sooner Safer Happier  is committed to protecting the rights and freedoms of data subjects, and safely and securely processing their data in accordance with our legal obligations under the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) (effective from 25 May 2018). 10. Copyright

All Sooner Safer Happier’s course materials including graphics, code, text products, software, audio, music and design is owned by Sooner Safer Happier Limited or Sooner Safer Happier’s third party course providers. No content, in whole or in part, of the Sooner Safer Happier materials may be copied, reproduced, uploaded, posted, displayed, linked to, or used in any way without the prior written permission of Sooner Safer Happier. Any such use is strictly prohibited and will constitute an infringement of the copyright and other intellectual property rights of agil8, or in the case of material licensed to Sooner Safer Happier, the owner of the materials.

11. Discounts

Early Bird – Sooner Safer Happier offers a discount for customers registering and paying at least 30 days prior to the course start date. Please see website for current prices. Discounts and Special Offers are at the discretion of Sooner Safer Happier’s and can be withdrawn at any time.

12. Force Majeure

In no event shall Sooner Safer Happier Limited be responsible or liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations hereunder arising out of or caused by, directly or indirectly, forces beyond its control, including, without limitation, strikes, work stoppages, accidents, acts of war or terrorism, civil or military disturbances, nuclear or natural catastrophes, inclement weather and communications or computer (software and hardware) services, it being understood that Sooner Safer Happier Limited shall use reasonable best efforts which are consistent with accepted practices as a training provider to resume performance as soon as practicable under the circumstances.
